One coating from Thermech will allow your molds to release easily for months or years, depending on usage.  Most of the time, your molds will become obsolete before they need recoating.

We typically apply FEP Topcoat to molds to provide them with nonstick surfaces and resistance to chemicals and corrosion.  Since FEP melt-flows to form nonporous film, it is a natural choice for low-abrasion release applications as is found in molds.  But we never settle for using standard coatings.  Want a textured coating for your smooth mold?  No problem.  Need a specific release speed?  No problem.  Whether you need a slow, medium or fast release, we will work with you to develop the best coating for your mold application.
