Teflon® Coating.  Compression Molding.  Plastics Machining.

Non-stick Pan Coatings

Thermech applies long-lasting fluoropolymer coatings to pans, trays, baguette screens, rollers, hoppers, chutes and other bakery equipment.  By eliminating release agents and pan oil, our coatings will make your bakery cleaner and safer.  Because our coatings last up to ten times longer than silicone glazing, less frequent recoating will save you money.

Aerospace Coatings

Using proprietary fluoropolymer blends, Thermech has coated parts for the U.S. Space Program, including the Apollo missions and the Space Shuttle.  Thermech also specializes in fluoropolymer performance coatings for mission-critical applications in aerospace, electronics, high-energy physics, and government defense and research projects.

Medical Coatings

Since 1982, Thermech Engineering has applied PTFE coatings to the ID of narrow tubesas narrow as 0.007” (0.178 mm).  Minimize fluid carryover with ID-coated probes and tubing. Maximize lubricity with ID-coated nitinol or stainless steel hypotubes and coils for neuro-, cardio- and peripheral vascular intervention.  Coating the IDs of microcatheters is a less expensive alternative to extruded PTFE liners.

Teflon® Coating / Spray Coating

Using a variety of fluoropolymers and other materials, Thermech applies extreme-service coatings to hard-to-coat parts.  Our coatings withstand extreme heat and cold, minimize wear, maximize insulation, and provide chemical resistance and non-stick surfaces.  Our custom techniques and proprietary TECthermcote and TECfluorcote families of coating materials allow us to offer unsurpassed performance.

Powder Coating

We specialize in powder coating our customers’ unique components that come in all shapes and sizes.  Our more than 60 years of experience allows us to offer more than just the standard coatings.  Where others coat merely for color, we coat for performance with traditional and specialized coatings.

Compression Molding

For decades Thermech has manufactured compression-molded polymers for market leaders around the world.  We compression mold and machine the highest-performing PTFE, melt-processible fluoropolymers and engineered plastics to create built-to-spec components for NASA, the US Military, aerospace companies, oil & gas producers, machine shops, medical device manufacturers, chemical processors and seal manufacturers.

Mold Release Coatings

Thermech is the leading fluoropolymer coating shop in Southern California for heavy, bulky production molds.  We provide ultra-quick turnaround.  Thermech has been coating production molds for over 60 years.  Our experience enables us to provide you with a quality application at a very reasonable price.
