Pan Coating Cost Savings
Cost Savings
We know you continually strive for production efficiencies, and we’re here to help. Switching from silicone glazing to fluoropolymer coating minimizes product waste and streamlines your processes by eliminating pan oils and greases and greatly reducing how often you need to send your pans and trays out for recoating. The switch to coating isn’t a tiny incremental step; it’s a dramatic improvement in efficiency, safety and cost.
Silicone glazing typically lasts 400 to 600 baking cycles. Non-stick fluoropolymer coatings typically last 3,500 to 5,000 baking cycles and eliminate the need for pan oils and greases. The upfront cost for coating is a little higher, but the cost per baking cycle will be much lower.
The cost savings from switching to one of Thermech’s coatings depends on many factors, including what your are baking and the costs your are paying for release agents and silicone glazing. We would be glad to provide you with a FREE detailed analysis of the potential annual cost savings for your facility.
